Description: USAID/Mexico would like to partner with Mexican organizations to achieve common objectives.  The APS invites civil society organizations, non-governmental organizations, non-profit organizations, education and research institutions, private businesses, financial institutions, chambers of commerce, industry associations, foundations, entrepreneurs, investors, philanthropists, and other private-sector organizations to identify and suggest ways we can work together to address key challenges in Mexico that are aligned with USAID/Mexico?s strategic objectives.  The Mexican Partnership Program contributes to USAID's overall programming in Mexico.  USAID/Mexico programs support Mexican institutions to achieve the following: a) prevent crime and violence by increasing the capacity of youth at-risk of recruitment to violent activity ('at-risk youth') to play productive roles in their communities and by facilitating the replication of successful crime and violence prevention models by local stakeholders; b) support local civil society organization efforts to render Mexico?s 2008 constitutional criminal justice reform operational by 2016; c) support civil society organizations to advocate for/promote the protection of human rights, prevent abuses, and assist victims; and d) support Mexico?s commitment to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
