Description: OVC will make up to two awards of up to $500,000 each to state-level demonstration sites to develop a consistent, coordinated response to child and youth victims and their families and caregivers that addresses the presenting issues and full range of victim needs.  The project will be conducted in two phases.  This solicitation is for Phase 1 funding only.  During the Phase 1 planning process, participating states will work with a network of stakeholders to review the existing policies and protocols of the partnering agencies to identify strengths and gaps in services.  Those applying are urged to begin in advance of the May 21, 2014, deadline.

Description: The SBA is issuing Program Announcement No.  OIT?STEP?2014?01 to invite the States, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, the U.  S.  Virgin Islands, Guam, American Samoa and the Commonwealth of Northern Mariana Islands (hereinafter ?States?) to apply for a STEP grant to carry out export promotion programs that assist ?eligible small business concerns,? to become exporters, and to increase the value of small business exports.  The STEP grants will be awarded on a competitive basis.  The funding instrument is a cooperative agreement.  A State may not submit more than one application for a grant under the program.  Awards will be made for
a project period of 12 months from the date of award with one option period of 12 months.
